Really quick, if you look over to the left, you'll see a new link. There's the MapSource gdb file that I'll be uploading all my hiking tracks onto, so you can see the location, distance, elevation, time, whatever yourself. Let me know if that isn't working for you.
A new cache published last night and while I might have risked it for the FTF, trying it at 10:30pm at night was a bit much. So I went up right after work.
From the trailhead, I made a bushwhacking beeline towards it, straight up the hillside. That was killer. Eventually made it to the summit (though not the true summit of the hill, that is just over a mile south of where I was) and found the cache. The hike up was tough and took me many bursts of upward movement followed by long periods of huff-puffs. But I got up there and then followed an old road back to the saddle and down to the truck.
Per the GPS, 2.2 miles in 1 hour 13 minutes.
Hopefully I'm not too dead for tomorrows hike back up into the Wildlife area.
